8/11/2006. Collaborative works of Kirsten and Paul.
Model me...
A few months ago i would have said that a photographer can make anything look semi-alright .. however I now know that it is a two way street. If your model is shit - you have no hope, if the photographer is shit, the model is most probably going to look bad.
Scanned via my housemates negative scanner he has on overnight lend from his work (which has extended to months of lend-age ... I think his work GAVE it to us!) and resized (hence the loss of quality). I am still amazed by the whole concept of negative scanners. I developed this negative - which i know takes no talent - but it is still very fun to do as a novice (especially when i only recenlty learnt how to do it).
I also took this to our darkroom in our garage (no cars live in there anymore) and had a play around ... it was fun
This limb is broken
These fingers rusted
These eyes are frozen
This dress was trusted
This camera died. And.
Your ring lied
And. Everything
Is stuck on pause (pretty puss clinging to a gauze)
The television doesn’t play
Anything but
-I love you every much-
In war torn whispers, screaming
Distrust.
This doll is pretty and you know
she’d fit perfectly
but if you so much as (asked)
But she may just get caught up
(and cough it up)
In spite of looking tough
Tonight:
This limb was broken
These fingers rust
The eyes have frozen
This dress screamed distrust
My camera died
And this ring lied
- Everything is
.
stuck -
.
She loved you in bright orange
Some stains don’t wash away
The battered bride loved you in bright red.
Even although she hates herself today.
this wind up toy has broken
I’d love to not be choking.
Broken rust. Frozen trust.
great photo, different look from you but i likes it i do! Its open...
but the standout for me has to be the poem. I'd love to see this turned into a song, because that first (and repeated) verse is so lyrical. awesome ):

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
